The Convener of the Integrity Group, Delta State, Dr. Oke Idawene, has reaffirmed the group’s unwavering support for the leadership of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that the group stands firmly on their mandates as the state prepares for an election year.
Speaking at a strategic gathering of stakeholders, Dr. Idawene said the meeting brought together like-minded and influential individuals who believe in the vision, capacity, and performance of the Oborevwori-led administration. According to him, everyone present was a firm believer that the Delta State Government is delivering tangible dividends of democracy to Deltans across the state.
“We are here to come together as strategic persons who believe in the leadership of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori. Anybody here is somebody who believes in and stands with the Governor,” Dr. Idanwene stated. “Anyone here today believes that the government of Delta State is delivering dividends of democracy to our people.”

He emphasized that the gathering was also aimed at charting a clear strategy ahead of the coming elections, noting that the group is determined to work tirelessly to ensure victory for both the Governor and the President.
“It is an election year, and we are here to strategize on how we can deliver our Governor and deliver Mr. President,” he said.
Dr. Idawene further used the platform to send a strong message of loyalty and solidarity to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, assuring them of the Integrity Group’s total support.
“To Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, we say on your mandate we shall stand,” he declared. “This is what Delta State is saying: where you go, we go; where you stand, we stand.”
Dr. Idawene stressed the unity between the Delta State Government and the Federal Government, describing it as a partnership that is working for the people.
“Our government is with the President. Two plus two is four, four plus four is eight. It is clear and it is correct,” he said.
He concluded by reiterating that Delta State remains solidly behind President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, insisting that the bond between the leaders and the people is unbreakable.


“Where Bola goes, where Sheriff goes, we go,” he added, drawing applause from participants at the event.
Secretary of the Elders Council of the Integrity Group, Prince Oputa described the organisation as one of the most formidable pressure groups in Nigeria, praising the unmatched passion and commitment of its Convener, Dr. Oke Idawene.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Felix Ofou noted that the Integrity Group has carved a niche for itself in the promotion of Governor Oborevwori’s administration.
He expressed confidence that both Tinubu and Oborevwori would emerge victorious in 2027 and urged members to intensify efforts in APC e-registration to ensure massive electoral success and increased political relevance for Delta State.
Former Head of Service and Secretary of the College of Patrons of the Integrity Group, Dr. Reginald Bayoko emphasised the importance of integrity in public and political life.
He commended Dr. Idawene for his commitment and unwavering belief in the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, while calling on members to prioritise voter registration.
In a goodwill message, Dame Princess Minnie Igbrude thanked God for the progress recorded by the group and praised Dr. Idawene for his sacrificial leadership, love and dedication.

She described the Integrity Group as an integral part of the MORE Agenda, asserting that Governor Oborevwori’s performance has virtually eliminated any serious contest against him in 2027.
She also encouraged members to attract opposition figures to join the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.
As Coordinator of Tinubu Touchbearers in Delta State, Dame Igbrude said President Tinubu is laying a solid foundation for a prosperous Nigeria and urged citizens to remain patient, assuring them that the country is on the path to greatness.
Highlight of the event were luncheon and goodwill messages from Barrister Fred Majemite and Hon. Ferguson Onwo who reaffirmed their support for the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, commending the Integrity Group for its consistency and visibility in promoting the Oborevwori administration.
The event featured a paper presentation titled “2027: There Is No Vacancy in Asaba Government House and Aso Rock,” Prof. U.N.O. Edewor, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Delta State University (DELSU).
