Chairman, Delta State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Dcn Joseph Otirhue has said there would be no compromise for defaulters of the January 2024 promotion interview.
Otirhue made this known while speaking with our reporter at his office in Asaba, the state capital.
He said the decision to discipline defaulters was in line with the earlier enlightment to them prior to the commencement of the peomotion exercise.
The Chairman said the defaulters whose document were incomplete would be stepped down and won’t have thier promotion letters.
Otirhue said that failure to present the required qualifications which is in line with the scheme of the service would bar them from being promoted to a higher level.
While congratulating the successful participants of the promotion interview for meeting up to the requirement, he urged those who were yet to meet up to try and acquire the qualifications before the next promotion exercise.
He admonished them to take advantage of the time space in the exercise to upgrade, as failure to do so would be an indication of not wanting to grow in the local government service.
