The Delta State Local Government Service Commission is mounting a 3-day training workshop/seminar at the Wetland Hotel Ughelli, in Delta State.
In a circular letter signed for the Commission’s Chairman, Hon. Dcn Joseph Otirhue by the Director of the Training Department,Mrs Scholastica Bolum, says ,the Seminar shall be commencing at 9:00am on Tuesday 11th to end Thursday 13th February 2025, with the Seminar title”Place of Fiscal Responsibility In The Promotion of Fiscal Discipline For Efficient & Effective Service Delivery”.
According to the letter, 175 Personnel have been invited from the 25 Local Government Councils in the State to participate in the Seminar.
Furthermore, the letter specifies that, the 2nd in command to the Heads of Personnel Management, Heads of Works, Environment and Budget Planning Research and Statistics Departments as well as Apex Nurses, Internal Auditors with Officers in Charge of Salaries are the target audience.
The letter added that, attendance to the seminar is mandatory and participants are to be seated before 9:00am, as opening formalities shall commence immediately.
