The Convener and Coordinator General of Progressive Anioma Youth Association,(PAYA) High Chief Ambassador Mayor Chinedu Enujeko, SSA to Governor of Delta State on Youths Mobilization and former President of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has called on Youths of Anioma (Delta North), Delta State, Nigerians both at home and in diaspora to support the re-election of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for their second term bid as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Governor of Delta State respectively.
High Chief Amb. Enujeko, the Odogwu of Ubulu Unor Kingdom who currently assumed leadership as the Director General (DG) of Signature Nigeria, an arm of the NYCN mounted to coordinate to Political structure and political activities in Nigeria, made this call while playing host to the delegations of Progressive Anioma Youth Association (PAYA) from across the Nine Local Government Areas of Delta North, compromising of Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Ika North East, Ika South, Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, Okwuani, Oshimili North and Oshimili South LGAs.
The Coordinator General of PAYA emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met Nigeria in a comatose situation, breathing with a life support of subsidy, but took the bold step and courage to remove it immediately he assumed office and Nigeria seized breath immediately, hence be likened as a seed planted by a farmer that must decay to sprang up fresh seedlings that will grow to bare new fruits.
Amb. Enujeko reiterated that it takes a person who planted a seed to ground to apply it’s mechanisms of nursing it, nurturing it, watering it, and giving it all necessary attention and care needed to grow up, spring up flowers and bare fresh fruits.
High Chief Amb. Mayor Joel Chinedu Enujeko, the former number citizen of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), maintained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has planted a new seed in Nigeria with the removal of fuel subsidy at the inception of assuming office as the President of Nigeria, hence should be allowed to grow it, as any effort to unseat him at this point will be more colossal than ever. Nigeria is on the verge of working again, with the policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to restructuring Nigeria and reduce the concentration of Power at the center through State Policing and Resource control. These are evidence in Delta State with the recent approval of N400bilion by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori to build police Stations across the twenty five LGAs of Delta State, for free take of state Policing.
The Coordinator General called on all Anioma Youths who are progressive minded to anchor on this quest and mobilize our Youth to support the bid of re-electing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, declaring that both the President and the Governor of Delta State have earned to maximum support and confidence of PAYA.
Amb. Enujeko explained that in mobilizing our Support for the President, the group will not form a parallel body with “SIGNATURE NIGERIA”, but will work under the umbrella of Signature Nigeria to Mobilize for the re-election of the President, and work within the coffers of PAYA to mobilize for the re-election of the Governor in Delta North, but for Delta Central and Delta South, the group will collaborate with SIGNATURE NIGERIA at State level, with the zonal coordinators that will emerge from the zones.
Note that this group PAYA have not endorsed any Senate aspirants, nor House of Reps nor House of Assembly, we only endorsed the President re-election and the return of our Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori to Government House till 2031. Any aspirant who wants our support must come to us and tell us where he or she is going and why we should support him or her, Amb. Enujeko affirmed.
As ethnic Nationality, we are Anioma Youths, we are progressive minded, the group has free entry and free exit, there is always an equal opportunities for both the old and the new members, but though your reports must show in your works and efforts made towards achieving the goals and objectives of the group, that will also be considered to rewarding members. No sentiments, no segregation, we have nine LGAs in Anioma and form the largest numerical strength to deciding elections in Delta State. Therefore go home and preach this same message I have preached to you to other Youth and people in our communities and villages, elections are not won in social media, but in pulling units, we will play active roles in supporting credible candidates with verifiable report cards and antecedents, tell your candidates if you have any, bring them here, the group is open to listen to any manifesto, we are ready for the real business in politics, the structure is already established and very strong to market your candidates if the person is the best amongst equals, and most importantly if the person has a good track record, he concluded.
A motion was moved and unanimously seconded by members of Progressive Anioma Youth Association (PAYA) to pass votes of Confidence to the Director General of the PAYA, High Chief Ambassador Mayor Chinedu Joel Enujeko as SSA to Governor on Youths Mobilization and leader of the group, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori as Governor of Delta State and His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
