Ogbueshi Chukwufumnaya Onianwa, the Delta State APC Treasurer, has described the Oshimili South APC Ward Campaign Chairmen as tested and trusted political stakeholders with years of experience and established records of political participation.
He made this statement yesterday during the enlarged Oshimili South APC Leaders and Stakeholders Meeting, where he noted that the Ward Campaign Chairmen were appointed based on their individual political experience, track records and contributions to the party over the years.
Speaking further, Ogbueshi Chukwufumnaya Onianwa assured the Oshimili South Campaign Chairman, Hon. High Chief Ezenyili Kelvin Obi (PhD) and other party leaders that Ward 6, where he serves as Campaign Chairman, would work towards delivering all APC candidates in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
On the forthcoming Oshimili South APC Campaign Flag-off scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 2026, he pledged to mobilise 3,000 APC members from Ward 6 to participate in the event.
He also appealed to the party leadership to extend the largesse being given to pressure groups with the highest membership strength to the various wards in Oshimili South, emphasising the importance of recognising and supporting grassroots party structures.
His remarks underscored the importance of ward-level mobilisation, inclusiveness and cooperation among party stakeholders as preparations for the 2027 general elections continue.
