OSN Hails Appointment of Dr. Gloria Patrick-Ferife as Delta Health Ministry Permanent Secretary
The Ophthalmological Society of Nigeria (OSN) has congratulated its President, Dr. Gloria Patrick-Ferife, on her appointment as the new Permanent Secretary in the Delta State Ministry of Health.
In a statement issued by the society’s National Public Relations Officer, Dr. Sewuese Bitto, the OSN described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Dr. Patrick-Ferife’s outstanding professionalism, administrative competence, and dedication to public service.
According to the society, Dr. Patrick-Ferife’s transition from the Ministry of Technical Education, where she served as Permanent Secretary, to the Ministry of Health reflects her versatility, high productivity, and exceptional leadership qualities.
The statement noted that beyond being an accomplished administrator, Dr. Patrick-Ferife is a highly respected Consultant Ophthalmologist and specialist surgeon whose wealth of experience is expected to positively impact the health sector in Delta State.
The OSN expressed pride in the appointment, describing it as a significant achievement for both the medical profession and the society.
