…As PSC, NPF Urges applicants who printed their online forms, missed their screening appointments to participate
The Delta State Government has called on all eligible candidates who applied for recruitment into the Nigerian Police Force to promptly report for the ongoing physical and credential screening exercise currently taking place in Asaba.
The Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, Dr. (Barr.) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, made the call in a special announcement issued from the Governor’s Office in Asaba.
He explained that the screening exercise, which is being conducted by the Police Service Commission (PSC) in collaboration with the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), represents a critical stage in the ongoing nationwide recruitment process into the Force.
Dr. Oghenesivbe disclosed that the exercise is specifically for candidates who received invitation letters indicating their screening centres and scheduled dates, those who missed their previously scheduled screening appointments, applicants who printed their application forms after completing the online registration, as well as candidates who received invitation letters but were not assigned screening centres.
He urged candidates who fall within these categories to immediately present themselves for screening at the Delta State Police Command Headquarters, Okpanam Road, Asaba beginning from Friday 13th March 2026, noting that the exercise provides a vital opportunity for qualified applicants to complete the recruitment process and move closer to their aspiration of serving the nation through the Nigerian Police Force.
The Bureau Director General further advised candidates to attend the screening with all relevant documents and credentials for proper verification. For further enquiries, candidates may contact the designated police officer, DCP Rita Emesim, on 08077228516.
Dr. Oghenesivbe, however, clarified that candidates who have already been screened should kindly disregard the announcement.
He reaffirmed the Delta State Government’s commitment to supporting federal institutions in ensuring a transparent, credible, and successful recruitment process.
