A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Somadina Anwasia, has congratulated Ned Nwoko following the massive turnout of voters and overwhelming support recorded during the recent primary election conducted in the Delta North Senatorial District.
The primary election, which featured prominent contenders including Ifeanyi Okowa, Maryam Ali, and Senator Ned Nwoko, witnessed what Hon. Anwasia described as an unprecedented show of solidarity and confidence by party faithful and supporters across the district.
In a press statement made available to journalists, Hon. Anwasia commended the people of Delta North for their peaceful conduct, unity, and strong participation throughout the exercise, noting that the large turnout reflected the growing popularity and acceptance of Senator Ned Nwoko among the people.
According to him, the overwhelming support received by Senator Nwoko demonstrates the trust the people have in his leadership capacity, developmental vision, and commitment to the progress of Delta North.
“On behalf of my supporters and political associates, I sincerely congratulate Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko for the overwhelming support and confidence reposed in him by the people during the primary election. The massive turnout of voters clearly shows that the people are united and determined to support quality representation and purposeful leadership,” Hon. Anwasia stated.
He further appreciated party stakeholders, women groups, youths, and grassroots supporters for their dedication and loyalty to the party, stressing that their commitment contributed greatly to the successful outcome of the exercise.
Hon. Anwasia called on members of the APC to remain united and continue to work together in the interest of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in Delta North.
He also prayed for wisdom, strength, and continued success for Senator Ned Nwoko as he continues to champion the interests of the people of Delta North Senatorial District.
