The Delta State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Godknows Angele, has commended Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his unwavering commitment to infrastructural development across the state, describing the administration’s M.O.R.E. Agenda as a clear demonstration of purposeful and people-centred governance.

Angele gave the commendation following the governor’s inspection of key projects in Isoko Nation, including the College of Health Technology, Ovrode, and the Ozoro Modern Market, where he reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to deliver quality infrastructure and improve the living standards of Deltans.

In a statement, the commissioner said Governor Oborevwori had continued to prove that sustainable development goes beyond road construction, noting that the administration was making strategic investments in education, healthcare, housing and other critical sectors across the state’s 25 local government areas.

According to him, the governor’s inspection of projects before commissioning underscores his commitment to quality, accountability and value for public funds.

“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has consistently demonstrated that every project executed under his administration must meet the highest standards before it is handed over to the people. This culture of quality assurance has become a defining feature of the M.O.R.E. Agenda,” Angele stated.

He described the completion of the College of Health Technology, Ovrode, alongside its access road, and the modern market in Ozoro as landmark projects that would stimulate economic activities, improve healthcare training and create lasting opportunities for residents of Isoko Nation.

The commissioner noted that the governor’s developmental footprints were visible across the state, adding that ongoing investments in critical infrastructure reflected an administration focused on delivering tangible dividends of democracy rather than engaging in unnecessary publicity.

Angele said the Housing Ministry remained committed to complementing the governor’s vision by ensuring the provision of affordable and sustainable housing projects that align with the broader infrastructural transformation taking place across Delta State.

He urged Deltans to continue supporting the Oborevwori administration, stressing that the governor’s commitment to equitable development had ensured that no part of the state was left behind.

“The governor’s achievements speak for themselves. From roads to markets, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and housing development, the M.O.R.E. Agenda is steadily transforming communities and improving the quality of life for our people. We remain proud of his visionary leadership and dedication to building a stronger and more prosperous Delta State,” Angele said.
