The Delta State government through the Ministry of Environment carried out fumigation exercise in a bid to mitigate the negative impact of pest and vector infestation of the communities affected by flood across the Delta North and Central Senatorial districts.
The Immediate Past Commissioner for Environment, Chief Godspower Asiuwhu flagged off the exercise at Infant Jesus Phase 2 on May 17, 2023.
Thereafter, the Ministry team went to other communities affected by flood at Oko, Ewulu, Isheagu, Iselegu, Ashaka, Evwreni, Ujevwu, Egini, Uhuror, Enunerhie, Okpare, Ossissa, Afor Ogbegigbo, Okolori among others across the two senatorial districts.
