Amidst heavy rainfall of today, Muslim faithfuls trooped to the New Asaba Central Mosque within the premises of Model Technical College, to observe the Eid El Kabir prayers.
The Chief Imam, Alh Dr Adekola Yinusa used the occasion to pray for peace in Nigeria and begged Almighty God to expose and punish those who are unleashing terror in the atmosphere of our dear nation.
He said all Muslims must continue to fear God and be faithful to Him and they must imbibe the spirit of tolerance at all times.
He urged the politicians in the country to play their games with the fear of God in their and he implored them to be peaceful with one another as no political ambition is worth the blood of any citizens.
He prayed for Governor Okowa and wished him well in all spheres of life.
All Muslims were unanimous in their support for the Governor saying he did well by relocating the mosque to a better site where today’s Eid prayers took place.

High point of the occasion was the significant slaughtering of ram by the Chief Imam. Many dignatory witnessed the occasion and this includes the Commissioner of Police, Alh Ari Muhammad and some top business men and women and children.
