The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, has unveiled his vision for the future of the state, emphasizing inclusive growth, improved infrastructure, education, technology, and better welfare for residents.

Hamzat unveiled his manifestos few hours after party members elected him as the flag bearer.

He promised to pursue job creation, educational development and service delivery after his inauguration on May 29, next year. Voters would expect him to shed light on these promises during the campaigns.

The deputy governor said: “My manifesto is ready. A roadmap that draws heavily on my party’s manifesto, it offers Lagos specific interventions for the next four years. It is a product of broad consultations with all stakeholders.

Hamzat noted that Lagos remains Nigeria’s commercial hub and must continue to evolve through policies that support businesses, attract investment, and improve living standards for residents.

He also stressed the importance of collaboration between government agencies, private sector stakeholders, and local communities in achieving sustainable development across the state.

The deputy governor assured residents that the current administration remains committed to delivering people-oriented projects and maintaining Lagos’ position as a leading economic centre in Africa.
