Delta State Commissioner for Housing and Youth Development, Hon. Godknows Angele, has called on members of the Integrity Group for Sheriff to begin strategic grassroots mobilisation in preparation for the forthcoming electoral campaign.
Speaking while receiving the group’s National Coordinator and Convener, Dr. Oke Idawene, alongside other members at his office in Asaba, Angele stressed the need for the organisation to strengthen its presence across communities and actively promote the achievements of Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
The Commissioner highlighted the governor’s developmental strides across key sectors of the state, as well as the contributions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Delta State’s growth. He urged the group to take its advocacy to the grassroots, noting that the governor’s performance had earned him widespread support.

According to Angele, Governor Oborevwori has delivered impactful projects that have positively affected the lives of people at the grassroots, making it necessary for residents to rally behind his administration. He also commended the group’s commitment to advancing the MORE Agenda and assured them of his continued support.
Earlier, the Delta State Coordinator of the Integrity Group for Sheriff, Comrade Martin Bolum, described Angele, the group’s patron, as a leader with an open-door policy whose contributions have positively impacted many Deltans.
Bolum informed the Commissioner that the group was set to commence its campaign activities in line with the structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC), revealing plans to embark on mobilisation visits to all 25 local government areas of Delta State.
He expressed confidence that, based on the achievements of Governor Oborevwori, members of the group, in collaboration with organised labour, were prepared to vigorously promote the governor’s administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Bolum on behalf of members of the group extended condolences greeting to the Commissioner on the demise of his mother who was laid to rest recently.
Also present at the meeting was the National Deputy Director of Media of the group, Comrade Ufuoma Onovughakpo, and other members.
