Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm congratulations to former Chairperson of the State Civil Service Commission, Dame Okwuofu, as she marks her 76th birthday, describing her as an accomplished public servant and a woman of admirable character.

In his goodwill message, the governor commended her years of dedicated service to Delta State and the country, saying her contributions to the development of the civil service and public administration remain highly valued.

He noted that Dame Okwuofu has, over the years, distinguished herself through selfless service, exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to the welfare of her people, earning the admiration and respect of colleagues, political associates and community leaders.

He recalled her impactful career in both the health and public sectors, where she served in various capacities, including as commissioner and chairman of the Civil Service Commission, contributing significantly to governance and human capital development in the state.

Oborevwori prayed for continued good health, long life and greater fulfilment for the celebrant, while encouraging her to keep sharing her wealth of experience for the good of society.
