The Executive Assistant on Political Matters to the Governor of Delta State, Chief Godday Mgbabego, has congratulated His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office, describing his administration as one that has brought political stability, unity and unprecedented development across Delta State.
Mgbabego noted that Governor Oborevwori has, within three years, redefined governance through inclusive leadership, strategic political coordination and people-oriented policies under the MORE Agenda.
According to him, beyond infrastructural development and empowerment programmes, the governor has successfully strengthened political harmony across the state by carrying all stakeholders along, irrespective of political background, thereby fostering peace, loyalty and confidence in government.
“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has not only performed exceptionally in governance, but has also demonstrated rare political maturity and leadership capacity that have united the political structure of Delta State. His humility, accessibility and ability to manage diverse political interests have further endeared him to the people,” he stated.
He added that the governor’s achievements in road infrastructure, youth empowerment, education, healthcare and grassroots development have proven critics wrong and positioned Delta State on the path of sustained growth and prosperity.
Mgbabego further commended the governor for maintaining peace and stability in the state’s political environment, stressing that his leadership style has strengthened the ruling party and inspired greater confidence among Deltans.
“As Your Excellency marks three impactful years in office, I pray that God grants you more wisdom, strength and good health to continue your excellent service to the people of Delta State,” he said.
He wished Governor Oborevwori continued success and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
