The people of Ubulu-Unor were thrown into excitement and jubilation as Hon. Chiedozie Cyril Igbiki stormed the community in grand style, receiving an overwhelming and heroic welcome from supporters, youths, elders, and well-wishers.
The reception reflected the deep confidence and growing trust the people have in Hon. Cyril Igbiki’s vision for a new and progressive Aniocha South. Speaking passionately during the gathering, members of the community declared that the era of backward politics and disconnected leadership must come to an end.
They affirmed their readiness to support a younger and more people-oriented leader who understands the struggles of the masses, listens to their cries, and remains accessible whenever the people call.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Hon. Igbiki assured the people of his unwavering commitment to servant leadership. He pledged to remain a man of the people, approachable, accessible, and dedicated to the welfare and advancement of every community in Aniocha South.
Also lending his voice at the remarkable gathering, Amb. Mayor Enujeko expressed great satisfaction and confidence in Igbiki’s leadership capacity. According to him, Igbiki represents the hope and healing needed to revive Aniocha South from years of political neglect and leadership decay.
He further thanked the party the APC Delta State ably led by our amiable state governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the enabling environment and fair play that allowed Cyril to aspire and be cleared to contest for the primary election for Aniocha South House of Assembly come Wednesday next week.
He assured the party that Cyril will not be a liability to the Governor but a great asset as a youth mover who enjoys the support of the street following the good footsteps of our Governor the only Governor in Nigeria with Street credibility.
He passionately called on the people to unite and throw their full support behind Igbiki in both the forthcoming Primary Election and the General Election, stressing that the movement symbolizes a fresh beginning for the people of Aniocha South.
Indeed, the visit was memorable and historic, as Igbiki’s return to his hometown once again showcased the overwhelming love, acceptance, and grassroots support he continues to enjoy among his people.
