The Director General of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi a.k.a Ada Anioma has pledged her support to the Sheriff Free Medical Project For All Deltans (SHEFMEPAD), adding that such people oriented reachouts need no negotiation for assistance.
She made this pledge when the Project Team paid her a courtesy visit at her office in Asaba, to intimate her of the free medical programme which is billed to hold between 19th and 20th of November, 2022, at Ubulu-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Hon. Onyemaechi commended the group for their belief in the Governorship Candidate of PDP, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, thereby tagging a free medical project to his name.
Onyemaechi who herself is a strong supporter of Sheriff for Governor, recognised the immense humanitarian services the group had been rendering to the people of Delta State in these past months leading to actual kick-off of the campaigns in support of the candidacy of the Speaker and Governorship Candidate of the PDP.
The SHEFMEPAD Team was led by its astute Coordinator, Dr. Alexander Chidubem Awunor who said that Hon. Onyemaechi was recognised to pay a courtesy visit to, as a result of her position as the DG, Aniocha South PDP Campaign Council.
He stated that the visit was to intimate her of the plans of the group to host a 2-Day Medical/Surgical Outreach in her town of Ubulu-Uku.
Awunor therefore presented the amiable politician with the official template of the programme which includes free consultation and counselling, free laboratory tests (blood sugar, hepatitis B), drugs distribution, free eye screening and dispensing of eye lenses, free dental examination and dental surgeries, surgical procedures (herniorraphy, appendectomy, excision biopsies, etc), physiotherapy care and counselling and adequate referrals.
The programme is sponsored by SHEFMEPAD TEAM and proudly supported by the Supervisory Councillor on Environment, Aniocha South Council, Hon. Chidi Ikediashi and will hold at the General Hospital, Ubulu-Uku.
