With his clearance now confirmed, political attention within Oshimili South is expected to shift fully toward the primaries, where Barr Nsugbe is increasingly being projected by supporters as a strong contender and a credible alternative for effective representation.
The aspirant, who hails from Umuonaje Quarters in Asaba, has continued to gain momentum in recent weeks through growing grassroots consultations and expanding support across the wards of Oshimili South.
A member of the legal profession, Barr Anthony Nsugbe has built his campaign around themes of purposeful representation, accountability, youth inclusion, and measurable development across the constituency.
He insists that while society’s problems can’t be solved at once, four years was enough to show results of service to the people.
He has also assured Oshimili South Constituents of an open-door policy, with charity and empowerment as his watchword for service.
As the countdown to the APC primaries continues, political observers believe the contest is gradually shaping into one of the most closely watched political races within Delta North Senatorial District, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
