As Nigeria marks Democracy Day, the Chairman of APC Oshimili South Local Government Area, Ogbueshi Dada Okolo, has extended warm felicitations to the people of the area, describing democracy as the collective voice and power of every citizen.
He noted that democracy is reflected in the daily resilience of traders, transport operators, students, and families who continue to believe in a better future despite economic challenges.
According to him, the struggles of the people, including the rising cost of living, unemployment, and the need for improved infrastructure, remain issues that demand continuous attention and commitment from leaders.
Ogbueshi Okolo reaffirmed his dedication to serving the people of Oshimili South, pledging to continue advocating for their welfare and development. He urged residents not to lose faith in the nation, stressing that Nigeria’s future remains bright when citizens remain united and committed to democratic values.
He called on everyone to protect and strengthen democracy through peaceful participation and support for good governance, while praying for God’s blessings upon every family in Oshimili South. He wished all residents a happy Democracy Day celebration.
