The Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government Area, Hon. High Chief Ezenyili Kelvin Obi (PhD), popularly known as EKO, has continued his investment in youth empowerment by presenting Apple MacBook laptops to 23 beneficiaries of the second batch of the Oshimili South Tech Empowerment Programme.
The programme recorded great success with the first batch of 23 youths, who successfully completed their training. In recognition of outstanding performance, EKO rewarded the best graduating student of the first batch with a cash prize of ₦500,000, encouraging excellence and dedication among participants.
While handing over the laptops to the second batch, EKO charged the beneficiaries to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to learning, emphasizing that the opportunity should be used to acquire valuable digital skills that will prepare them for future opportunities and self-reliance.
With a total of 46 youths already empowered through the programme, EKO continues to demonstrate his unwavering commitment to youth development and the progress of Oshimili South.
